The Vanguard Camilla Rifle—“designed by women, built by Weatherby”—incorporates a high comb, along with a number of other features that make this rifle superbly comfortable to shoot. Aptly named after the first lady of Weatherby.
The goal of the Camilla line of Weatherby rifles was to purpose-build a system that would accommodate the ergonomics of women and smaller-stature shooters. Countless hours of research, testing, and engineering went into the production of the line which undoubtedly led to a more comfortable and accurate platform. The graceful lines not only look amazing but are befitting of the way the stock fits female shooters. It features a shortened 13” length of pull, slender forearm, a slimmer grip with a gentle palm swell, and a higher comb for optimal scope-eye alignment. The recoil pad is fitted with an ergonomic cant to nest into the way a woman’s shoulder is built.
